My writing life started in Scotland in the late 80s, where I worked in advertising for several years.  In 2000, I began turning my pen to fiction and freelance journalism as well.  Since then, I’ve had feature dramas commissioned and produced for BBC Radio 4's Saturday Afternoon Play, as well as for the CBC's Sunday Showcase. 

My freelance work has appeared in UK titles ranging from The Independent to What Digital. I also had the great pleasure of being Writer in Residence at the University of Caen, in Normandy, and have had a film project in development with BBC Films and Scottish Screen.

I’m represented by Meg Davis at MBA Literary Agents.  We are currently working on a crime series set in Paris (This He Did Without Remorse), as well as developing a psychological suspense novel set in London about a string quartet.)
